Individuals upright HD docks are Out!

Posted by Rick on 21st Dec 2014

bought 2~These are nice Sheet metal,so well assembled & good looking its almost a shame to mention sheet metal. These will make you wonder ! I must of went shopping @ the right time as %50off was almost the price of the standard single, plastic vertical exposed HD docks. You get to hide 2 HDs away in a miniature size server like a big corporation.I had not seen these before always looking @ MAC/CPU stuff.each double bay system only requires power & connection/info of just a single Drive ...1 USB & 1 Wall adapter for 2 drives.I could of bought a 4bay single system but its just me & the Cat.Plus the savings was in 2 x2 drive systems & "They Look Cool"adding 2 larger sub bays actually tidy'ed up my unsightly cable mess. A 960SSD + 16GBmemory & 2sub-bays was a doubling performance feature 1 week before xmas for this 15"MAC book PRO,thats always ethernet & AC powered full time...Thats what I'm running now, a Note Book that Smokes full size Desk tops ! And Space age look to whole system...HONESTLY,I did.....said DID have an issue with one of the sub bays begining use , There was a HUGE noise issue coming from fan in 1 bay...I said I`ll go in there and see what the QC issue is in next day....the next day noise died off & now both very quiet....why these don't have a wheel to speed up in summer or slow fan in winter is a plus they could offer.overall the most Trick MAC book set up I could of owend & using the sub bay docks in Raid 10 configuration to boot. Its perfect now the whole Rig ! (feel free to edit review)
